GenomeSeek provides easy access to current and completed eukaryal and microbial genome projects. The database contains information on 1858 projects. The database was last updated 3 January 2008. Use the keyword search function to narrow your search, eg "ruminant bacteria", "venter eukarya", "staphylococcus", "DOE" etc.

Some of the data from this database is sourced from the GOLD: Genomes Online Database (Lioles et al. 2006; Bernal et al. 2001; Krypides et al. 1999). Therefore, this database is distributed and licensed under the Creative Commons Licence.
